Privi Pharma Pvt. Ltd, is promoted by Privi Group, based in Mumbai, is a privately held Company. The Company was incorporated in the year 1990 . The company has set up a manufacturing plant ,with state of the art facilities in the year 2008 for Dust Suppressants and Inorganic Chemicals, such as Non-Ferric Aluminium Sulphate(Alum), Anhydrous Sodium Aluminium Sulphate (Soda Alum) and Agri-based plant Nutrients at 22/1-A,MIDC,Dhatav, Roha,Dist Raigad, which is about 140 Km away from Mumbai on Mumbai -Goa Road, and close to JNPT. It has developed a well equipped Laboratory to test the raw materials as well as finished products. Every batch produced by the company is tested for its quality. The finished products are of the standard quality within the country and are of equally comparable quality as per the global international standards. Alum and Soda Alum are well accepted products in Indian and in the international markets. Currently, these products are exported to countries like Tanzania, Kenya, Sudan, Uganda, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia,U.A.E., Zimbabwe etc. Earlier, the main activity of the company was trading in the field of Pharmaceutical Bulk Drugs & Drug Intermediates. The company was importing antibiotics,anti-diarrheal , anti-inflammatory drugs and vitamins from China, Japan, Europe, USA and other countries.
Prior to setting up manufacturing unit at Roha, the Company was first to introduce Natural Vitamins and Anti-oxidants in India and represented Cognis Corporation Nutrition and Health Group* (formerly Henkel Corporation) , having its head quarters in Germany. Cognis is one of the leading producers of natural antioxidants and Natural Herbal Extracts. The Company marketed Cognis’ products through Indian manufacturers having automated manufacturing facilities for finished formulations in the form of Tablets, Capsules, etc. The company also supported Awareness Programmes and Advisory Services through participation in seminars, work shops and conferences and dissemination of the latest information and research data on the vitamins and antioxidants. It also assists in development of new products for prevention and treatment of various diseases, backed by scientific research on natural vitamins and antioxidants to the manufacturing, marketing companies, medical and health professionals and practicing doctors, on regular basis, so that they are kept abreast of the latest developments taking place world-wide and thereby contributing its mite in percolating benefits of the latest research to the widely dispersed and remotely located patients.
